Alicja Sajko is a Polish visual artist and breathwork practitioner based in St. Pölten, Austria.

Her practice moves between painting, the body and conscious breath, exploring identity, perception, embodiment and the ways we lose and rediscover connection with ourselves.

She holds an MFA in Painting and a BA in Media Arts from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. Her further education includes postgraduate pedagogical training, postgraduate studies in art therapy, and a two-year professional training in Rebirthing Breathwork at Prana Visions.

Over the years, her artistic practice has expanded beyond the canvas to include breath, body awareness and somatic experience.

For Alicja, these are not separate fields. Painting and breath are both ways of entering into direct experience — beneath explanation, habit and the identities we learn to inhabit.

Alongside her artistic practice, she works individually with women through conscious breath and body awareness, particularly in moments of transition — when old ways of living no longer feel true and something new has not yet fully emerged.

Her work — whether through painting or breath — returns to the same question:

What becomes possible when we reconnect with ourselves?
